I promise this is the last post about Turkey for a while now! If you’re following me on Instagram then you’re probably a little sick of all this holiday spam. I just wanted to write a little bit about our holiday to Turkey along with sharing a few (LOTS) of images and a little video. Since we started taking Daisy away when she was about 6 months old, we’ve really enjoyed documenting some of our holidays with little videos. You can see more here. I feel like I don’t have much to say about Turkey, quite simply because it feels like a second home. It’s one of my favourite places in the world – We’ve been traveling there for about 15 years now and It holds so many fond memories for me.
We’ve been staying at Caretta Apart Hotel for years now and it’s somewhere we will always go back to. It’s beautiful and has great hospitality – I really recommend staying here if you’re traveling to the Dalaman Region of Turkey. Dr Can, Mary and Cem will bend over backwards to make our stay perfect and they’re just genuinely really lovely people. We’e always felt incredibly welcomed and at home during our time here. The location is also absolutely perfect – a five minute walk to the beach where you’ll find lots of little shops and restaurants along with a few local supermarkets. It’s also incredibly easy to get a water taxi or bus into the stunning Fethiye where you can sit and enjoy a meal by the harbour. If you’re looking at visiting Turkey then get in touch with Dr Can (pronounced Doctor Jon) here – it really is THE best place to stay.
I wrote a post a few days ago about why you should visit Turkey so I won’t go into too much detail, we had an amazing time and I’d love if you could watch the video below!
